The College & Career Competency Framework provides K–12 curricula for developing self-regulation, self-efficacy, assertiveness, and conflict management. These curricula, developed by Drs. Gaumer Erickson and Noonan, at the University of Kansas, support educators and families in developing resilient learners who collaborate to expand skills, express their wants and needs respectfully, and apply strategies to self-regulate and persevere. Instructional activities and facilitated practice develop students’ self-regulation, self-efficacy, assertiveness, and conflict management. Educators are supported through professional learning and coaching from recognized trainers to structure tiered supports matched to the needs of each student.
